Bottled water firm steamed about Miami-Dade (FL) water ads

The corporate water baron (and chocolate manufacturer) Nestlé is trying to silence the Miami-Dade water utility in its effort to encourage the residents to drink the tap and avoid the waste of bottled water. They’ve brought in their high-paid attorneys, so it’s up to us: Sign the petition to stop the bullying.

In the radio ad, a talking faucet extols Miami-Dade’s tap water as cheaper, purer and safer than bottled water.It may have sounded innocuous to most listeners, but the 30-second spot left the nation’s largest purveyor of bottled water boiling mad.
