This contract should have never been entertained, regardless if it brought funds to the city. This unhealthy and unsmart idea is totally hazardous to the environment and water supply needed to sustain life of humans, livestock, and wildlife combined. Our first and foremost concern should have and always should be to preserve the environments we take for granted.

I have taken extended hikes in the Grand Canyon without using bottled water. It does take planning, as any adventure in the wilderness should. I have known Jon Jarvis for many years and have great respect for his integrity, leadership and fundamental values. I will write to him expressing my concerns that this issue be resolved and that plastic water bottles be banned. Please continue to follow this story.

thank you. There is nothing “natural” about ‘natural gas drilling” It is a horrendous practice that jepordizs our fresh water supply and should be universally opposed.
